Former Maine State Representative to Speak at Chicago Conference

Former Rep. Stan Moody (D-Manchester) will be a speaker at an April 26-28 conference at the North Park University Center for Middle Eastern Studies in Chicago. The conference will feature speakers from the three Abrahamic faiths – Judaism, Islam and Christianity – on reframing the approach to peace in Jerusalem.

Moody holds a doctorate in Theology for which he conducted extensive research on the Christian doctrine of last things. His dissertation was published as “Crisis in Evangelical Scholarship: A New Look at the Second Coming of Christ.” His topic for the conference will be “Peacemaking in the Christian Worldview.”

Moody is founder and president of the Christian Policy Institute and is an Advisory Board member of both Jews-On-First and the Institute for the Study of Christian Zionism. He pastors the North Manchester Meeting House Church in Manchester, ME.
